Daisy May Taylor 2016-July 17, 2025 With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Daisy on July 17,2025. Daisy came into our lives on April 1, 2017. She was alone on a desolate road near the Trinity River. She was so thin and in poor condition – but just the sweetest girl. We gently got her into the car and went straight to the vet. She was not chipped, and an owner was not found. We found out Daisy was less than one year old and expecting puppies. She gave birth to five beautiful puppies on April 26, 2017. Due to her poor condition – only two survived. Daisy was a wonderful mommy to her surviving puppies – Peach and Paisley – up until her last day with us. Daisy loved everyone. People and all animals. Daisy especially loved babies and small children. Though she was a large dog – she was gentle and careful when around little children. Daisy loved all other dogs, cats, bunnies and even frogs. She once found a baby frog in the backyard and carried it inside in her mouth. Daisy was disappointed she was not allowed to keep her ‘baby.’ Daisy loved to cuddle. And would insist on cuddling by activating her PYR paw to convince whoever that she needed cuddles. (If you are familiar with Great Pyrenees – you are familiar with the PYR paw.) Daisy loved to play with her fur family Peach, Paisley, Bear, Willow (Wee Wii) and Lewis. Daisy loved wintry weather and would pout when we made her come inside. Daisy did not like thunderstorms, fireworks, or loud rattly trucks – especially if they were pulling a trailer. Daisy will be missed by her humans – mama, daddy, Savannah, Lacey, Joe, Jack, Josh, Emily, Vivi, Tracey, Adam, Jordan, Dylan and all who knew and loved her. Daisy – we love you and miss you so. We know we will see you again at the Rainbow Bridge. “God requires that we assist the animals when they need our help.
