Robin Pascual

In loving memory, Robin was the guiding light in the love story of our marriage. Born on August 5, 2015, he chose us to be his family, and from the very beginning, he filled our lives with warmth, comfort, and joy. His first year was spent in San Francisco, where his constant smile and happy spirit brought smiles to everyone fortunate enough to meet him. Robin was our first baby and he stood beside us through every chapter of life. Through every high and every low, every transition and unknown, he remained our steady source of happiness and love. He was our copilot on the drive that brought us halfway across the country to Texas, turning every apartment into a home we couldn’t wait to return to. He was the very first to step into our first house, proudly watching over it and always making sure we felt safe. Whether alerting us to someone at the door or the neighborhood kids playing outside, Robin greeted the world with a bark and his signature butt wiggle. He was incredibly smart and endlessly loving. Robin knew how to shake with both paws, give high fives, spin, play dead, sploot, ring the bell when he needed to go outside, and somehow communicate exactly where his food and water belonged. He loved laying at our feet to keep us warm, treasured his toys, and shared them gently with his furry brother. Robin was there for all of life’s biggest moments. He was there for our wedding, our move across the country, and the long road trip that brought us to a new beginning. He was there for our first, second, and third apartment. He was there when we bought our first home. He welcomed our first baby into the family and stayed with us long enough to celebrate our baby’s first birthday. For 10 years and 9 months, Robin dedicated his life to loving us well. He comforted us through difficult days, celebrated every joyful one, and reminded us daily what unconditional love looks like. Though it feels far too soon to say goodbye, we are endlessly grateful for every moment we shared with him. Robin was more than a dog. He was home, family, safety, laughter, and love. He will be missed beyond words and remembered in every quiet moment, every happy memory, and every place that still carries his paw prints and tufts of fur.
