A heartfelt good bye but see you soon🐾2-6-2010 🐾 7-6-2026🐾 Walt Disney aka “MickeyMon” A lil bud full of nicknames and personalities… Man ohhhh man, I never thought this day would come!! I am heart broken as I am to say, Walt aka MickeyMon, suffered heart and trachea issues last night and this morning. I have had to put him down today, so that no long suffering will continue. It is the hardest thing to do. But, it is for his well being. I could not see him or allow him to suffer anymore. This little dog had been with me 17 years! Strong and feisty in many ways. He enjoyed his life from Pomona, Ca to Fontana, Ca to Covina, Ca and then to Wylie, Tx. He enjoyed his car rides for sure. He comforted me all these years when I loss my grandmother, mom and grandfather. He provided that emotional and sometimes mental support. I was glad to call him my service dog. He enjoyed his time on an airplane, did he like it probs not lol but he enjoyed time with his family in Ohio. We used to call him “Walt Trout” in reference to the Angels player, Mike Trout. Because he had his favorite ball and he would jump over fences, couches for it to fetch it. We fed him his own rotisserie chicken and this dog looked like he was a body builder. So strong in his legs, muscles galore. There’s so many memories I can remember and type here but all I know he lived his life to his fullest. He traveled land and air, went on a Farris wheel, etc. He enjoyed his last morning filled with park visits, sausage patty, running and playing. He enjoyed his car rides through out Wylie, Tx. At this point we were waiting to go to his hospital, for the peaceful transition. Getting into the hospital, we had our own private room with goodies, treats and all the fixings. He enjoyed some good food and dessert. They gave him a pup cup and he tore that up. He enjoyed his last hour being loved on, cuddled on. Then it came for the sedation. He curled up in my arms, enjoyed some more of his pup cup. Then at 11:45am, he passed peacefully crossing the rainbow bridge. There he would be reunited with his brother Shiloh aka “lolo”. He would also be reunited with my late grandmother and mother, perhaps his brother and sisters. 7-6-26 the toughest day for me to have to put down a loved one. But the serenity, the peace is knowing that he is no longer suffering. To have him live another day or two would’ve only brought painful suffering. Rest easy buddy, you were the best dog anyone could ask for! Until we meet again, rest easy baby boy! (Pics took 7-6-26, video slo mo two years ago)
