Bryz Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

REMEMBERING Bryz Ilya Bryzgalov aka Bryz was a Russian Blue cat born 05/09/2020. He was brought in to Farmers Branch Animal Shelter with his 2 sisters and mother as strays. Bryz was adopted by a family that returned him a week later and was later adopted by Steve Prescott on April 27th 2021, where he would find his forever home. Bryz was a great cat, always vocal and active, loved playing with his favorite ball and string toy, and taking a snooze on his favorite chair or watching the squirrels from his scratching post tower. Bryz always greeted Steve after coming home from his 24hr shift at the Fire Station. Greeted him with cuddles and meows. Bryz was unfortunately diagnosed with FIP and after 3 hard weeks of fighting, found peace at home on his favorite platform on his scratching post tower next to the window. Bryz will be missed greatly, and the pain is unbearable. It is comforting to know that he had a great and loving home for his remaining months on earth because he deserved every bit of it. Bryz was cremated on 07/07/2021. His ashes will spread at his favorite spots and at Doheny State Beach, CA where he planned to vacation before becoming sick. Bryz leaves behind his owner And best buddy Steve and his girlfriend Tam and other friends that would come over and hang with the little buddy. We love you Bryz!!! Til we meet again!!!
